Truck drivers protest against ELD mandate

Members of “ELD or Me” were in Harrisburg to protest against the federal requirement of using electronic logging devices, also known as ELDs, from being implemented in trucks to help track the hours drivers are spending behind the whee. 

The new requirement has the hopes of creating a safer environment, although drivers believe implementing the rule would have the opposite effect.

On Monday afternoon, Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) joined The Zonta Club of Harrisburg-Hershey in the state Capitol for their "16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence Campaign."

This rally focused on human trafficking and informed that human trafficking is still active around the world, even in Pennsylvania.
