McCaffery, King lead in close race for Superior Court

One Republican and one Democrat are leading in the race for two open seats on the Pennsylvania Superior Court, with one candidate having declared victory.

Democrat Dan McCaffery and Republican Megan King lead with close to 99 percent of precincts reporting on Tuesday afternoon, a sign that both parties may pick up a victory on the Superior Court bench.

DiGirolamo wins county commissioner seat

Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks) won his Bucks County commissioners election Tuesday, finishing second of four for the three seats on the board. DiGirolamo has been in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 1995.  

DiGirolamo ran this year after the retirement of Vice-Chairman Charles Martin. He ran alongside Chairman Robert Loughery, who finished last in the general election.
