Pittsburgh Mayor seeking outside advisory team to restructure the PWSA

Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto’s administration is calling for a financial and legal advisory team to assist the city in making improvements to the embattled Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority. 

“The City of Pittsburgh owns the water and sewer system that was leased to the PWSA decades ago. It's time to reevaluate this structure,” said the Mayor in a statement.
