At limit of executive authority, Wolf pushes for legislative action on government ethics

At a press conference in downtown Pittsburgh Monday, Gov. Tom Wolf introduced a new package of reforms, including a gift ban on all elected officials and campaign finance reform. 

Wolf, citing his own ban on executive branch employee gifts, outlined the plan as a path to restoring public faith in Harrisburg. 

“The truth is our citizens don’t trust our government,” Wolf said.
