Democrats rally for higher wages in Philadelphia

Legislators and labor supporters gathered at Frankford Transportation Center in Philadelphia Friday afternoon to support Governor Tom Wolf’s proposal to raise Pennsylvania’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025. For much of the rally, one key person was missing Tom Wolf. 

 

Gov. Wolf proposed Pennsylvania raise the minimum wage above the current $7.25 an hour, the lowest among the neighboring states as part of his 2019-20 budget plan
