Wolf signs executive order to overhaul state services for vulnerable populations

In an effort to improve state services for vulnerable populations across the state, Gov. Tom Wolf on Wednesday signed an executive order to launch a new office that will review and recommend changes to social and protective services.

The executive order will establish the Office of Advocacy and Reform and will be made up of three positions: an appointed executive director, an appointed child advocate and the Department of Aging’s Long-Term Care Ombudsman.
