Members of the House and Senate call for an end to workplace violence

Sen. Katie Muth (D-Montgomery) was joined by colleagues in the House and the Senate to call for an end to workplace harassment.

The legislators also highlighted what they have been working on to end workplace harassment and called on Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery) to resign.

Debate to act now or build a case on capitol sexual harassment flares up on House floor

Testy floor debate Monday preceded the final passage of two House resolutions to study sexual harassment in the workplace.

The two resolutions, HR 828 and 829, will set up a task force to review harassment laws and also order the Joint State Government Commission to review harassment within the Capitol itself.
