Following recent murders, Department of Corrections outlines parole changes

Following a string of murders linked to state parolees, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections is seeking both policy and legislative changes to how the state monitors individuals on parole.

 

The recommended changes come after the DOC launched an internal review of five state parolees who are accused of committing six murders within a 10-day stretch from May to June.
